1. Hybrid is an imaginary creature, that contains body parts of more than one real species.
Liger: tiger & lion
Mermaid: upper human body & lower fish body
Minotaur: human & bull
Centaur: human & horse
Dragon: serpent & reptile
Griffin: body of lion & head and wings of eagle
Cerberus: three-headed dog
Chimera: dragon & lion & goat
3. I am going to create a hybrid, the result of tiger, eagle, and turtle. I would combine them together, because those are the animals that live everywhere; land, sky and sea.
4.
Analysis:
1. - used clone stamp tool to make three-headed tiger.
- used magnetic lasso tool and quick selection tool to crop the parts of animals I desired.
- used eraser to edit the edge of the hybrid so it does not look cropped.
- used background that best fits the hybrid i created.
- named the hybrid which I believe, best fits the hybrid.
- used adjustment layer (brightness and contrast) to create the mood of the picture and also to make the hybrid and the background go together.- used smart brush tool (blue skies) to make the picture more brighter and appealing, and also to make the hybrid flow with the background.
- added shadow to make the picture more realistic.
2. The successes were that the picture came out better than what I hoped, and also the hybrid I chose was a good one. furthermore, the picture was overall, smooth. Challenges were when I had to find the pictures of animals to create my own hybrid. also it was very difficult to make the hybrid look more natural.
